Reaching Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam International Airport (IATA: VTZ) is the primary airport serving the city. It has direct flights to and from major Indian cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Mumbai, as well as some international destinations.
- Airlines: IndiGo, Air India, SpiceJet, and others operate regular flights.
- From the Airport: The airport is located about 20-25 km from the venue. You can easily find pre-paid taxis, app-based cabs (Ola/Uber), and auto-rickshaws.
Visakhapatnam Junction Railway Station (Station Code: VSKP) is a major station on the Howrah-Chennai main line and is managed by the East Coast Railway. It's well-connected to all parts of the country.
- From the Station: The railway station is approximately 18-20 km from GITAM University. Cabs and auto-rickshaws are readily available 24/7.
Vizag is connected by an excellent network of national highways, making it easily accessible by bus or car.
- Bus Services: The APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) runs frequent services from nearby cities like Vijayawada, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The main bus terminal is Dwaraka Bus Station (also known as RTC Complex).
- Driving: The city is on NH16, which is part of the Golden Quadrilateral highway network.

APSRTC runs an extensive network of city buses. Look for buses heading towards Rushikonda or Bheemili. The closest bus stop to the venue is the GITAM University bus stop.
